In the late afternoon of a Wednesday in Germantown, Maryland, a sequence of events unfolded that left two young men dead. One of them was 21-year-old Jeffrey Baffour Akowuah, a male resident of Germantown. On May 11, 2022, gunshots shattered the quiet of the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive, leading to a police investigation into a double homicide.
