On a summer evening in Baltimore, the life of 36-year-old Kristy Helmert came to a tragic end. On June 12, 2022, on the 6400 block of Erdman Avenue, Helmert was found inside a car, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The initial call to authorities came from a man who identified himself as her fiancé, George Kuhn, then 43 years old.
