In the summer of 2022, a promising young life was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. Terrontae Stancil, a 19-year-old male, became another victim of the city's ongoing gun violence. On the afternoon of July 2nd, at approximately 3:23 p.m., the sound of gunfire erupted in the 600 block of West Mosher Street. When the chaos subsided, Stancil was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency responders rushed the young man to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where medical
professionals fought to save his life. Despite their efforts, Terrontae Stancil succumbed to his injuries the following day, on July 3, 2022. His death was officially ruled a homicide by shooting, adding another grim statistic to the city's homicide count.
In the wake of his death, the Baltimore Police Department opened an investigation into the murder of Terrontae Stancil. Authorities have urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward and assist in bringing those responsible to justice.
