In the early morning hours of September 13, 2022, Lawrence Green III, a 30-year-old Black male, was found shot in the Baltimore Highlands area. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. on North Conkling Street. When police arrived, they discovered Mr. Green with a gunshot wound to his head and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Baltimore Police Department classified the shooting as a homicide and opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Green's death.
To date, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in the case. The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
