On the evening of October 21, 2022, a sense of unease settled over a Northwest Baltimore neighborhood as the sound of gunshots pierced the air. Responding to the call, police officers arrived at the 5600 block of Magnolia Avenue to find a man suffering from a grave injury. He was identified as 29-year-old Brandon Alex Williams, a Black male. He had been shot in the head.
