Markel Scott, aged 19, was tragically shot and killed on March 16, 2017, in East Baltimore. He was returning home from spending time with friends when he was approached by an unknown assailant who shot him six times, including twice in the face. The shooting occurred near the 2700 block of East Madison Street, and authorities indicated it might have been a case of mistaken identity. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made in connection to Markel’s death.
