In the early evening of a Thursday in Cambridge, Maryland, the life of 24-year-old Taijay Brian Daniels was tragically cut short. On December 8, 2022, in the vicinity of Pleasant and Race Streets, Daniels was confronted by an assailant in what authorities believe was an armed robbery. During the encounter, he suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the quick response of Cambridge police officers to the reported shooting at approximately 7:15 p.m., Daniels was pronounced deceased at the scene.
