Edgar Cleveland Waldrop, a 24-year-old Special Constable with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on June 26, 1910. Waldrop was part of a team of officers investigating an illegal gambling operation near Piedmont, along Pelzer Road.
