On the last day of 2017, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 39-year-old Jermaine Bruster in Greenville, South Carolina. The male victim was fatally shot on New Year's Eve during a robbery at the Racer Court Apartments. The assailants made away with a wristwatch and a mere $80 in cash, a paltry sum for a man's life.
