On a tragic autumn day in 2003, the community of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, was shaken by a brutal act of violence that claimed the life of 52-year-old Beverly Elaine Rogers Guy and three others. On November 6, 2003, Guy was working part-time as a bookkeeper at Superbike Motorsports, a motorcycle shop owned by her 30-year-old son, Scott Ponder.
