On April 14, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., 61-year-old Oliver A. Francis of Brooklyn, New York, was fatally shot at a residence on Melville Place in Irvington, New Jersey. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:18 a.m.
