Joseph Letrez Brooks, a 25-year-old resident of Horatio in Sumter County, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 4, 2008. According to reports, Brooks was found dead in his residence located in the 7000 block of Richbow Road. The incident occurred between the hours of 7:00 p.m. on December 3 and 1:44 a.m. on December 4, when unknown assailants entered his home and fatally shot him. This brutal act left the community in shock and his family devastated.
