In the early hours of February 24, 2023, a violent encounter in Cross Hill, South Carolina, claimed the life of 27-year-old Tyquevius Breshaud Parks Sr. The incident began as a shooting on Leaman Street and concluded on Lisbon Road in the nearby town of Mountville, where Parks succumbed to his injuries. The Laurens County Coroner's Office later confirmed Parks' identity. He was born on November 12, 1995, in Greenwood, South Carolina, to Frank and Gretta Gant Parks.
