Juwan Reid, an 18-year-old from Charleston, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2013, after being shot on June 14, 2013. The incident occurred outside an apartment complex on Ashley Hall Plantation Road. According to court documents, deputies responded to a call at the Ashley Oaks apartments and found Reid with a gunshot wound to the back of his neck. Despite medical efforts, Reid succumbed to his injuries six days later.
