Malcolm C. Jefferson II, affectionately known as "L.J.," was born on October 8, 1995, and tragically passed away on October 8, 2013, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was the son of Malcolm C. Jefferson I and Monica Jefferson, and had two sisters, Brittany Scott and Sandree' Jefferson. His death occurred on his 18th birthday, adding a poignant layer to the tragedy.
