In the summer of 2014, in North Charleston, South Carolina, the life of 43-year-old Collette A. Warren-Hamilton was tragically cut short. On Saturday, July 19, 2014, she was killed by gun violence.

At the time of her death, Collette was a supervisor at the Vendue Inn. Her obituary described her as a beloved wife to Louis Hamilton, a mother to her children, Latoya Warren, Louis Warren, and Jatorrie Hamilton, and a grandmother.
