Migeal Ravenell, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the North Pointe Estates apartment complex on Ripplemeyer Avenue in Columbia, South Carolina. He succumbed to his injuries the following day, Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. An autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.
