Lynn Michelle Harrison, a 57-year-old woman from Summerville, South Carolina, was fatally shot on April 2, 2015, in an incident that authorities described as a random act of violence. Harrison was driving her vehicle when she was struck by a bullet.
Following the shooting, a Texas man named George M. T. Madjiteuchi was arrested in connection with Harrison's death.
Investigators determined that Madjiteuchi had been firing a weapon indiscriminately, and one of the rounds struck Harrison's car, leading to her death.
Madjiteuchi was taken into custody and was subsequently denied bond. He faced charges related to the fatal shooting. The brother of the suspect reportedly told investigators that he had been trying to get help for Madjiteuchi prior to the incident.
