In the late afternoon of August 4, 2025, the life of 38-year-old Angel Capers, a U.S. Army veteran and mother of three, was tragically cut short in her Summerville, South Carolina home. Deputies from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a possible burglary in progress at her residence on Grand View Crossing in the Cane Bay area.
