On July 2, 2015, 26-year-old Rickey Daniel Baker of Columbia, South Carolina, was fatally shot during an attempted armed robbery. Baker, a Dutch Fork High School alumnus, was employed in public relations at Dick Smith Automotive Dealership. Known for his passion for acting, dancing, and his comedic nature, he was cherished by his family and friends. He was also a devoted attendee of Sea Coast Church of Irmo.
