Davonte Quentin Freeman, a 23-year-old resident of Ridgeland, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 30, 2016. Freeman was found unresponsive after being shot once in the head near a KFC restaurant on East Main Street in Ridgeland. Despite being airlifted to Savannah's Memorial Hospital in critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries.
