Jamol Horton, a 41-year-old resident of Ridgeland, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 2, 2017. Horton was found with a gunshot wound to the chest at his home on Oak Park Road in the Wagon Branch area of Ridgeland. He was immediately transported to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office reported that Horton was ambushed and robbed, leading to his fatal shooting.
