On the night of November 7, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at the Enmarket gas station on East Main Street in Ridgeland, South Carolina. At approximately 11:20 p.m., an argument ensued between 21-year-old Ridgeland residents Rodney Lloyd Jr. and Nylon Chaney. The confrontation escalated, resulting in Lloyd being shot multiple times.
