In the late hours of a Thursday night in Ridgeland, South Carolina, a long-standing feud reached its tragic conclusion, leaving a young man dead and another facing a murder charge. On November 7, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m., 21-year-old Rodney Lloyd Jr., a Black male, was involved in a heated argument at an Enmarket gas station on East Main Street.
