In the spring of 2016, a young Black man's life was cut short in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Savon Quincy Scales, a 22-year-old male from Burton, was fatally shot on the evening of Monday, April 18, 2016. The incident occurred on Old Bailey Road, where an argument escalated into deadly violence.
