On December 17, 2023, 24-year-old twin brothers TraJaan and Tranquan Fripp of Beaufort, South Carolina, were fatally shot at the Baba Bar in Ridgeland, located within the Riverwalk Business Park. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., also resulting in injuries to two other individuals—a male and a female—who were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
