Jamel Lydell Thompson, aged 27, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2016, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The incident occurred at the Norris Ridge Apartments, where a shooting took place, resulting in Thompson's death and injuries to three other individuals. According to the coroner, Thompson died at the hospital due to internal hemorrhage secondary to a gunshot wound to the leg. His death was ruled a homicide.
