On New Year's Day in 2017, a tragic event unfolded in a home on Old Barnwell Road in West Columbia, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 1-year-old Ezra Chavez. The young male was found deceased in the master bedroom of the residence alongside his 4-year-old brother, Elijah Chavez, and their 26-year-old mother, Marissa Hope Reynoso. All three had been fatally shot.
