Daeun Marcelis Odom, a 14-year-old from West Columbia, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on July 31, 2021. According to the Lexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, Daeun was found dead at a home on Osage Avenue around 1 p.m. He had been shot in the upper body. The incident took place in a residential area just north of Sunset Boulevard and a half-mile south of the Riverbanks Botanical Garden in the Saluda Gardens area.
