Derrick Bowens Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Summerville, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2017, in North Charleston. The incident occurred on Suzanne Drive, where Bowens was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside a home. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Charleston County Coroner's office confirmed his identity the following day.
