Kaliel Bey, a 19-year-old resident of Aiken, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2017, in a shooting incident at the Paces Run apartment complex. On that fateful evening, Aiken police responded to reports of shots fired and found Bey lying in the roadway on Brandt Court with gunshot wounds to his head and neck. Despite being rushed to Augusta University Medical Center, Bey succumbed to his injuries the following day.
