Willie Simmons Jr., a 33-year-old resident of Aiken, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2019. The incident occurred late in the evening when deputies responded to a shooting at the 3100 block of Silver Bluff Road. Upon arrival, they found Simmons just inside the front door of his home, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite the efforts of first responders and Aiken County EMS, Simmons succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
