On a summer evening in Seneca, South Carolina, the life of 28-year-old Ricky Antonio Nickles was tragically cut short. On July 6, 2017, Nickles was shot and killed at the Seneca Gardens Apartment Complex. A devoted father of three, he was known for his vibrant personality, his loyalty, and an infectious smile. His commitment to his children was so notable that he had been named 'Father of the Year' for the 2016-2017 school year by the Seneca Head and Early Start School.
