Alydia Ling, a 16-year-old from Estill, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on September 1, 2017, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred when Johnnie Lee McKnight, a 39-year-old man from Barnwell County, drove up to Alydia as she was walking on the sidewalk outside her home around 8:30 p.m. McKnight, who had a toxic relationship with Alydia, ordered her to get into his car.
