Damarest Dante Jackson, a 22-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, tragically passed away on December 31, 2017. His body was discovered near Bluff Road, approximately a mile from the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, prompting an investigation by local authorities.
