In the summer of 2022, the life of 17-year-old Marquel T. Walker was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. On the evening of July 20th, deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to the Nexus Apartments on Fashion Drive in northeast Columbia, South Carolina, following reports of a shooting.
