Perla Azucena Banuelos-Allende, a five-year-old girl from Dillon, South Carolina, tragically died on February 3, 2018. Perla was born on March 29, 2012, in Orange County, North Carolina, to Manuel Banuelos Estrada and Martha Allende Perez. On the night of her death, Perla was asleep in her bed when a bullet came through the wall of her home and struck her. The bullet was fired during a shooting incident at a nearby party.
