On a tragic day in February 2019, the life of 23-year-old Tiana Perry was cut short in her Irmo, South Carolina home. The young woman was found deceased on Monday, February 4, 2019, in what the Richland County Coroner's Office would later rule a murder-suicide. At the time of her passing, Tiana was a resident of Irmo.
Authorities were called to the residence on Clarion Road to perform a welfare check. Upon entering the home, they made a grim discovery.
Tiana Perry and a man, identified as 25-year-old Darius J-Von Williams, were both found dead. An autopsy would later reveal that Tiana had died from shotgun wounds to her upper body. Williams' death was determined to be the result of a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head.
A baby was also found inside the house at the time of the discovery. Fortunately, the child was unharmed and was placed in the care of family members. The investigation concluded that Williams was the perpetrator in the murder of Tiana Perry before taking his own life. As the sole suspect in her death is also deceased, the case is considered closed.
