Obie Carrington, a 43-year-old man, was last seen on February 19, 1983, in Austin, Texas. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a Black male, 5'4" to 5'6" tall, weighing between 130 and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Despite efforts by law enforcement and inclusion in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), very little information has surfaced about his case, leaving it unresolved for over 40 years.
