Death by Force

Brantley Sutton, aged 55, was tragically shot and killed on August 15, 2019, in Columbia, South Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. at a mobile home located in the 3300 block of Beaumont Avenue. According to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts, Sutton died from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The Columbia Police Department (CPD) responded to a ShotSpotter alert and discovered Sutton's body outside the residence.
