On a summer afternoon in Columbia, South Carolina, gunfire erupted, leaving a young man's life cut short. Donquiese D. Green, a 23-year-old male, was on the 3400 block of Magrath Street on Saturday, July 30, 2016, when a vehicle, described by witnesses as silver or gray, pulled up. An argument broke out between the occupants of the vehicle and people who had gathered on the street, including Green. The verbal altercation quickly escalated to violence as shots were fired from the car.
