In the spring of 2017, a young man’s life was abruptly cut short in Columbia, South Carolina, leaving a family in mourning and a community seeking answers. On the evening of Thursday, May 11, 2017, 25-year-old Marcus K. Roseborough was at the wrong place at the wrong time. An argument erupted between two groups of people in the vicinity of Pine Woods Road, and in the ensuing chaos, gunfire rang out.
