In the winter of 2019, the community of West Ashley in Charleston, South Carolina, was shaken by the violent and untimely death of Mario Frost. On the evening of Sunday, December 1st, the 37-year-old man was fatally shot at the Palmilla Apartments, a residential complex that would become the focal point of a lingering mystery. The Charleston County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Frost's death was the result of a homicide, a stark confirmation of the violence that had transpired.
