Derrick Darrell Barber, a 28-year-old male, was fatally shot on May 11, 2017, in Charleston, South Carolina. The incident occurred after a prearranged meeting, and when police arrived at the scene, they discovered two children in Barber's car who were physically unharmed. The investigation into Barber's death led to the apprehension of two suspects.
