In the late autumn of 2019, the life of 37-year-old Rafael Dearmas came to a tragic and violent end in Charleston, South Carolina. On the evening of November 18th, police were called to a Motel 6 in the West Ashley area of the city, where they discovered Dearmas had been shot. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the result of a fatal gunshot wound.
