In the early hours of a Monday in Anderson, South Carolina, a domestic dispute turned fatal, claiming the life of 20-year-old Landis O'neal Osbey. The young man, born on May 6, 1999, was at a residence on Cunningham Drive when an argument escalated between his mother and her boyfriend, Rashard Mandrell Smith.
