On a late January evening in Anderson, South Carolina, the life of 20-year-old Michael Allen Rhodes was cut short by an act of violence. The Black male was fatally shot on Friday, January 31, 2025. The incident occurred on Osborne Avenue, where authorities were dispatched following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival at approximately 7:45 p.m., they discovered Rhodes with a gunshot wound to his head. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
