Chance Chad Tate, a 25-year-old resident of Anderson, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2016. Tate was fatally shot multiple times around 9:45 p.m. on H Street in Anderson. The Anderson County Coroner confirmed his death at the scene. The incident was not believed to be drug-related or a drive-by shooting, and preliminary investigations suggested that Tate knew his assailant.
