Jalen Iyan McNeil, an 18-year-old from Spartanburg, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on July 10, 2020, following a shooting incident. The shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. at the Victoria Gardens apartment complex on Howard Street. According to Major Art Littlejohn of the Spartanburg Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find McNeil had been shot at least once.
