In the quiet town of Santee, South Carolina, a tragedy unfolded on the evening of February 20, 2021, forever altering the lives of a local family. Shirley Ann Rivera Isaac, a 43-year-old woman, was fatally shot in the neck inside a residence on Resort Street. The incident, which also resulted in a gunshot wound to a child's arm, sent shockwaves through the community. At the time of the shooting, the home was filled with the sounds of family life, with six adults and five children present.
