Melissa Lynn Rauch, a 44-year-old woman from Yemassee, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on January 17, 2015. On that evening, Rauch's boyfriend left their home on Riley Street to run an errand. When he returned approximately 30 minutes later, he found the front door open and Rauch slouched on the bedroom floor by her wheelchair. She had been shot in the head.
